Gunnar Seidel
Gunnar Seidel is an artist.
He is an actor, director, and performer.
He was born in 1982 in Bremerhaven.
Now he lives in Nuremberg.
He works at many theaters in Germany.
He acts in plays and creates his own projects.
He also works at city theaters and state theaters.
First, he went to Italy.
There, he did a volunteer service.
Then he studied in Tübingen.
He learned rhetoric – that means how to speak in public.
Later, he studied acting in Hanover.
While studying, he already acted on stage.
He performed in Hanover and Hamburg.
He also directed his first play.
From 2007 to 2010, he worked at the city theater in Gießen.
He acted in plays and worked with young people.
He did theater with school classes and a youth group.
In 2011, he learned more at Schauspiel Frankfurt.
He worked there with a famous director: Michael Thalheimer.
After that, he acted at many theaters.
For example in Aalen, Gießen, Paderborn, and Kassel.
He also worked with special theater groups.
For example with Ana Zirner in Munich.
And with a group called Playground Disaster Inc. in Nuremberg.
Since 2015, he often works with the group Pandora Pop in Munich.
He acts and directs their plays.
He often works at Tafelhalle in Nuremberg.
There, he also makes dance theater.
For example with Katja Kendler or choreographer Alexandra Rauh.
Together, they made the plays Tabula Rasa, Trigger, and Morph!.
Since 2017, he is also a teacher.
He teaches at the music university in Nuremberg.
There, he shows students how to act on stage.
